INGREDIENTS:
- Flour
- Onions
- butter
- parsley
- salt
- pepper
- baking soda
- water

THE RECIPE Redeacted: Sautee the onions in some butter until soft.
The proportions I used for Bridge Birthday were:
- About 5 cups flour
- about 5 tsps baking soda
- a fistful of onions
- a smaller fist full of parsley
- salt
- pepper
- and enough water to make a batter

- Using a tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil cook until golden brown.
- Turn and continue cooking on the other side.
- Be sure to make them small enough so that they cook thorugh without burning.
- Remove from the hot fat and drain on paper towels.
- Seaon with salt while hot if desired.
